Simple and I think effective. Nice!
I originally installed my computer over a year ago and it ran perfectly until my battery died and I hooked upt the battery charger to jump start it which fried my opus. Now that I am on spring break I had time to get it up and running again. I got an M2-ATX and built a new case. Here it is http://brett.brotherton.googlepages.com/truckputer
I still need to install the DVD drive i decided to move it up front with a USB to IDE adapter. So I need to run power wires from the power supply in the back but I don't have a soldering iron until i go back to school.
The screen mounting is nothing special but I didn't want have any place to put it without removing the headunit and I still want to keep that. It still works out nice it is in a good location easy to reach and its easy to remove if I want it out of sight of thieves.
any plans to clean up all of those wires?
also, any plans to mount the screen in the dash (other than removing the HU) or anything other than where it is now?
very simple and very effective as is now! Just wondering if there are any other plans?
yeah i am going to clean up the wires in the dash, as far as mounting it in the dash no time soon, I had to quit my good paying job for school so I don't have any money to spare any more, maybe when I get a real job and some money.
