nice, i have also wondered wat the trailblazer would look like with the bezel. btw, i think you could've been able to fit the carputer behind the dash/glove compartment.
What if I need to do maintenance...I would have to rip the dash just to get to the PC. There is plenty of room behind the dash...Originally Posted by tnynyn

WoW!!! Excellent Install....
I just finished up getting everything I need for my Carputer install in my 02' Trailblazer LS. And after seeing your setup, I am even more excited about it!!!
I have two questions though, was taking out the factory radio hard? Because I know in our TB's everything is linked to eachother, and I didnt know if taking out the radio would make something else not work, or if something else was ran through it. Because I know for instance on the LT's the driver seat memorys is built into the radio... Which would be a hassle if you take the radio out
And secondly, is there any particular reason you with the screen mount? That is my next big hill to climb (mounting the screen) and I dont like the buttons on those particular mounts, but I might end up going with it anyway... How much did it cost you for that bezel also?
Thanks In Advance for your replies, and congratulations on your excellent inststall once again, especially for a fellow TrailVoy.com member!

I love that install. Its Beautiful. My mom has a TrailBlazer and I have always wondered how it would look with a LCD in the dash. I think I just might have to try that. BTW which screen is that?

Since my TB does not have on-star/driver memory, I just yanked the radio out. You may need a PAC adapter, jimmyjam (trailvoy.com) has a sticky with adapters http://forums.trailvoy.com/showthread.php?t=1479. All I lost were the door chimes (who cares). As far as the mount I went with Powder's mount ($100) and a Xenarc Screen ($300 from a memeber here) unless you mold it some how.
And that alot of work
Any questions please feel free to PM....Have fun!!!!
