I really dislike how i've got the mac mini mounted in the arm rest, and im open to suggestions on where you guys would put it.
doesn't fit under the seat, in the dash, or in the glove box, but i'd really like to have access to it for the CDROM drive.
this is my first carpc installation, so let me know what you guys think!

its not rust, its a thick type of glue that dripped down from when they put the dash togetherOriginally Posted by Sean

Nice install in a great car.
How's the reception of the radio shark??

I like it, what media front end are you running? I am rethinking my pc setup and might put a mac under my seat!
On my carpc (also have an 05 Magnum) I made some brackets and hung it under the passenger side dash, the box for mine is bigger than a mac mini too, the only issue there is the CD drive really isn't accesable while you are driving, you can reach it from the drivers seat but I wouldn't try it with the car moving since you have to lean way over to reach it, though my drive is also on the far right side of the passenger side area, wasn't an issue for me though as I only use it when I need to load software on it.
2005 Dodge Magnum RT, Samsung Galaxy Tab install
radioshark reception is **** poor:
i wired the fm wire inside to the ground and conductor pin of a coax cable which connected to my cars antenna, this didn't help any at all...i think i might just extend the wire and run it along the dash between the windshield.
i am currently only using a version of front row until i have made my own, i wasnt happy with most of the applications out there, they either didn't provide access to all of the applications i wanted and werent skinnable, to something like i3wheels for example, where you have to pay for it, its skinnable, but half the features dont work for me. and the demo is painfully obvious, its not worth it to me. i couldnt even get skins to work!
So im waiting for the other mac program to come out, which is .8alpha at time of posting? but the program im working on is skinnable, customiizable, easy to use!
Bee2643..DAMN...u pimpin kid. wot u do 4 a living??? nice Magnum BTW.
linky no work?
I'd really like to see those pics!
Cheers
