    VW Caddy

Finaly my work is complete! Well, will it ever be completed?

    Setup:

    VIA Epia M10000
    512MB DDR
    Soundblaster Live 5.1
    Linksys WLAN USB
    Lilliput 7" TS
    15" TFT monitor
    80GB 3,5" HD

    Pictures!!

My Volkswagon Caddy 1.9TDI (does this thing exists in USA??):

    The original dashboard:

    My dashboard now:

    Powered:

    Interior, viewed from 'trunk':

All wood parts will be carpented (black). I will add some neon behind the glass.

    Trunk:

My GPS will be added soon. I bought the BU-353, it will be placed up the roof.
Also 2 10" woofers will be placed behind the seats.

I have to buy an extra M2-ATX (or something else) to power my TFT in the back, so you can sit back and relax while watching your favourite movie!

Nice install. I have never seen a VW Caddy in the states before, must be a europe only model or something. Looks great though, and with the black carpet over the wood, and the neon, it will really set it off. Nice job!

Just thought I would throw my 2cents in here. VW Caddy is the newer version of the late 70s early 80s VW Pickup truck. We don't have them here in Canada or the US, but they do have them in several other countries, including Mexico.

They don't all have to have the top on it like this members... some of them are strickly a pick-up truck. I have been wanting one of these for years and one day I will see if I can get one imported in to Canada...although I bet you it won't pass our damn smog laws.

You can check out more info on them here. http://www.vwcaddyforum.com/

nope none of those round here- looks unique. I like it- would be good for one of those over the top car audio installs with 20 subwoofers...

    yeah-
I love the euro touring style cars. There is a renault I am planning on importing stateside someday if I can but I do not know what model it is- I saw this thing in paris in 2003 and have never forgotten it- a long black/grey car- very similar looking to your VW in the front- but the back was very disticnt with different "bubble" styling- very cool renault.
