With that trunk setup, is the plexiglass flush with the wood, or is it a little lower? I'm basically wondering how you mounted the plexiglass in the surrounding wood piece, I was thinking about making one as well.

It is not quite. I mounted it underneath, with a sheet of plexi larger than the hole, and then mounted a sheet on top of that, exactly the size of the hole, to make it closer to flush. It is not quite flush, but it is close. To make it flush, you wuld have to have the hole, and then a routed out slot all around the hole, to fit the plexi in, and I am not that talented with the router.

As for the bootskin, I have to find it, but here is the wallpaper I use. It is a jpg, but I can send you the original bitmap, or the psp files, if you want. When I find the bootskin on my computer, I will post that as well. The wallpaper is 800x480, by the way. I can also send you the Frodoplayer skins I made, which are modified FriBruMet skins. PM me with an email address that can accept 3+ mB files.

The enclosure was made out of plexiglass, and then I encased it in the steel mesh, in an attempt to make somewhat of a faraday cage, to cut out RF interference to my radio system. I succeeded somewhat, but it still has some RF leakage. Oh well. It's always a work in progress.

Yes, Thanks loads dude. Im using them on my 2003 G35 coupe. I think the brushed metal skin is more visable than the skin I was peviously using,(brightlife)

looks good, just one question, and I've seen it many times before, but what is the purpose of a mini model of your car IN your car?

I see it at all of the car shows, and I have yet to see the purpose behind it...lol

Bling.

Other than that, it does cover up the top of the bolt that holds the entire amp/beauty board to the car. Really, though, no purpose other than bling, which is pretty much the same purpose as the capacitor.
