Chassis is slightly different with the 350Z getting some enhancements. Saw a pretty interesting episode of BMI that put them both up on lifts to look them over.Originally Posted by amthar
The mini car is defenitely a good touch as long as you don't hit a bump and send that sucker flying throughout your trunk, smashing into your PC. Great setup though, defenitely worthy of props. I think your enclosure gives it a good touch, "Its all about bling."

The regular version of the G35, compared to the 350Z, this is true.
However, if you pay for the sport suspension (about $2k or so), then it is exactly the same suspension as the 350Z. Since what I was really looking for was a 350Z with 4 seats, which is what the G35 is, more or less, I got the sport suspension, and the 6 speed manual transmission, which also includes the 298 hp engine shared with the 350Z, rather than the slightly lower output 280 hp engine.

I wasn't tallking about the suspension, I was referring to the chassis itself. They are small differences but there is addition bracing to help increase rigidity.Originally Posted by Caelric

About 200-400 lbs, depending on the options.
Also, the only chassis difference, is that the 350Z has front and rear strut tower bars, where the G35 does not.
