Welp, the vehicles manufacture date is October 29, 2002. That probably tells you just as much as it tells me :-\. Funny thing is that my car has the SAT button(which some apparently do not), but it wasn't pre-wired...so that leads me to believe it was a very early production model.

Dave, Is the mesh (whichever type) used around the pc case really going to make a difference wrt extraneous RF? Has there been a before and after comparison to look to?

Injector's info was pertaining to a question much earlier in the thread, about six months ago, that I asked about losing radio reception due to installing my carPC.

Let me see if I can find the cable, and I'll let you know what I want to do.

    300zx twin turbo > 350z

If you going to buy a z buy a 300zx. Drive both and you'll know why I say this.

Thats interesting that you have that opinion, and thanks for sharing it. I disagree with you, having owned a 450 rwhp 300ZXTT, and now owning a G35 (a 350z with rear seats), but that is really immaterial.

You're free to discuss that in another thread, but I'd appreciate if you left my "Show off your project" thread alone.

    Thanks

Again, thanks for sharing. However, my degree is in physics, and as a part of my employment, I do know a little (quite a lot, actually) about RF. As long as the holes in the mesh is smaller than a quarter wavelength of the RF you are trying to block, you can do a pretty damn good job of blocking it.

Bump to post the dyno sheet from my recent install of a JWT twin turbo kit. See this post for the sheet. Short version: 363 rwhp, and 346 ft/lbs of torque with over 300 ft/lbs of that available from 3000 to 6500 rpm!

Looks are subjective, but I think the G is better looking.
Interior accomodations are nicer on the G, but the G also weighs a little bit more.

Dave, sounds like it's the 2+2 version of the Z, almost. I wonder if the different gas tank locations scenario still carried over from the Z32 as well because of the extra seating - giving a higher and shorter rear hatch area.

    JWT TT Kit...OMG = $$$$$$
