Thanks for all the kind words

the paint was an off the shelf rattle can from the local parts shop/store

the pannel is quite a tight fit but it is secured by a bracket and bolt at the top
and cable-tied at the bottom to a hook for a cargo net

yeah all the cables loom was made using lots of cable, shrink wrap, molex plugs and a long time trying not to tangle all the cable tidy

just a mini update on the re trimmed boot

wow great install! I like it alot, especially the dash.

Your attention to detail around the screen edges and deck relocation show that you spent the extra effort making it perfect.

Now all you need to do is relocate that sub to the spare tire well! I really like how you've trimmed out the trunk.

Is the Octavia on a mk4 jetta platform? It seems to have nearly identical proportions. I know Skoda is a VW company, I just don't know much about the Skoda cars themselves. What motor does it have?

good excuse as ive got to get a buggy in the boot in 6-7 months time and that will make loads of space

and the missues thought i had finnished finally
nothing get you in more trouble than fibre-glassing on the new oven

its on the same platform as the golf dont know about the jetta
its the 1.8 turbo engine 180 bhp standared
although its been tuned to about 230 bhp

Sorry for bringing up an old thread

yeah the its the same as the jetta platform.
But what im wanting to know is do you still have a guide on how you moved the climate control. im wanting to put in a screen similer to yours but keep my guages . there fitted to a din sized panel, im liking the idea of moving them to the climate area then doing away with the ashtray. never use it as dont smoke.

any advise would be greatfully recived
