Well it seems a little misplaced seeing as ricer is a term used for japanese cars and this car is korean.

Funny that the chassis was designed by porsche and the body designed by pinifarina too.

Both from europe it would seem.

Ah well, each to his own, every man's entitled to his opinion I spose

Coming from a man who drives a Nissan, seems to be terribly TERRIBLY ironic to me seeing that nissans are THE most bland, BORING cars ever built.

    Quote Jeremy Clarkson.

"If this car was a person it would be a librarian or something BORING like that.
It would clean it's teeth between meals, wouldnt eat sweets and would show up for work on time and NEVER be late or call out..... BLEURGH"
So guys, do you think this will help me score with chicks?

Its a small Dell job, has a laptop type CD rom in and a 800mhz p3.

Im gonna use a power inverter to fire it up, I dont have the cash to buy any of them flashy parts (like the dinky 12v psus and such).

I want to completely remove the back seat and create a false one that can be carpetted in the same colors as the front seats, then cut the triangular sub into the back part of the seat and extend a box into the trunk.

It leaves alot of scope doing that TBH because then I can simply create a faux wall behind the back board of the false seat and hide the PC and all it's gubbins in there too

The problem as I see it is the screen, unless I put it on my head Im all out of ideas

He was talking about the 'altezza' brake lights, 5 point racing harness, and stickers I believe. In the US, we call this sort of car a 'ricer' or 'riced out'. Here's an example for you:

Yeah they were cheap ($70 shipped overnight) and the OEM ones were cracked and scratched, so it wasnt out of full choice but more for legality and safety.

Shark racing (www.sharkracing.com) do smoked lenses that you can either mod on or stick over your tail lights, a snip at $50 a set.

I havent had the car that long, but it was a complete bargain and so I couldnt care less what others say.

It's a top specced (if there was such a hyundai ) and I got it for $900.

Had a bad trans leak and needed new brakes, that was all sorted for $100 (new brakes all round, new trans gasket and filter and fluid) so for $1000 Ill take it lol.

Worth around $5k, low miles (mid 80's) for a 1998 too.

Goes like the clappers, cheap as **** to run.. cant fault it really.
