I had the usb draining problem too...instead of doing the mod, I sent it in to opus for $20 bucks and they did it. At the same time you could have them adjust the voltage dectection...Originally Posted by kiztope

Yea, I'm using an Opus, but I have 2 problems:
1. The Opus doesn't force the PC to do a hard-off, when it is soft-off it is still draining power (usb devices and such, I haven't done the opus USB mod) , so... if the battery is getting low, the PC will turn off, but still drain power.
2. I use remote start, and if the voltage isn't high enough, the car will turn over, but not completely start...
O well...

I've been thinking about sending it in, but I don't want to be without it for the time that it takes... I may contact them to find out how long it might take...
A small update:
It got a little hotter here in NC & due to temp's inside the fiberglass cover, I installed a 120mm fan (nice and quiet fan that pulls a lot of air) on the pc side and moved the 80mm to the Amp side to expel air. temps dropped dramatically. Now it is working great and staying cool, even in the NC summer!
