I decided to do a full interior color change (from blue to black/gray). Man let me tell you talk about some serious work!! I have the doors to redo, front seats to dye, backs look awesome btw, carpet to replace and thats about it. Some fine tuning and tweaking and its DONE!!! Its basicaly installed and working. I'm really loving it just two problems...no ashtray for my spare change and no more cupholder uh oh The final pics will be coming in the next week or so as I finish up the interior.

COLOR CHANGE!! Remember to wash, dry, rewash, dry, scuff, wash, dry before painting this badboy. You don't want it to peel or scrape.




This was done in 2 weeks time working to 2-3am and getting up at 6:30am. Yes 3-4 hours sleep for nearly 2 weeks solid. I think I missed a few nights because I was flat beat. I only worked on it a few hours a night doing what I can after my family goes to bed. Time is hard to come by and there just isnt enough hours in a day

Doors recovered. Vinyl can be a major PITA! So much better than that ricer white crap hah.

Interior parts:

Much has changed since these photos but here goes anyways. The stereo system has also changed 3 times I will try to post them all up to current.

The second phase. Audio system change for a show.
Specs are:
CarPC
8" Lilliput touchscreen - DVD, mp3's, wma's, Crome Pro, Datalogging etc all stored on 200gb harddrive. Runs on windows XP Pro.
Pioneer DEH P9300 headunit
Sherwood DTS processing controller for 5.1 surround sound.
2 - Autotek 750.1 amps for the subs (flush mount on either side in the pics)
1 - 6 channel (5.1 surround) Sherwood DTS amp running mids and highs (flushmounted on rear seat backs).
2 - 12" TM Rush comp 12's in custom "shorty" tubes (14" tubes tuned to 60hz)
2 - Kole Audio 6.5" and 1" tweeter components in the front.
2 - 3.5" Pioneer center channels ( 1 in the front dash vent and 1 in the roof console for rear center)
2 - Infinity 6X9's in the rear soon to be replaced with 4 - 6.5" in custom enclosures.

Phase 3: Yet another show and it was time to go even bigger. 2 Orion 15" H2 subs. The carpc was relocated to the side panel like the US amp pictured. I will try to get some newer pics soon.
****ty pics off a ****ty camera along with my somewhat incomplete setup. This was built literaly overnight for a show. I wound up taking 1st place in 2 classes (spl and street beats). I have a few minor details to take care of, side panels for the carpc and my USAmps mid/high amp. New rears to go in as well. Yes the subs are facing up. But Biz dont ya know they will sound louder facing back? Yes and no. This was the only way to get enough airspace and still be removable. The box was built to Orions specs and it does sound friggin great. I love it.

Looks good. We should race - I have the Ford version of your car, with 302 hp.

Do the subs affect the carputer at all - vibrations, etc...with the subs right on top of the carpc?

For an added bonus a few engine shots It made 297 hp to the wheels at 20psi of boost. The engine bay wiring has been cleaned up quite a bit. I seriously need to get some recent photos sort of embarassing :P
