    one question though...

    in this picture :

Town at the bottom of the screen, in the center, what is that?

I hacked the power cables that goes into wall socket. The wire with letters / words on it connects to yellow wire (12V) on M2-ATX. While, the totally blacked wired connects to black wire (ground) on the M2-ATX. This way, the M2-ATX controls when the LCD goes on / off.

Yep. It is the infrared sensor for the LCD. This way, I can use the remote to access the LCD power / menu w/o having access to buttons.

Nice install, my 06 Z is actually on order now (due delivery is September here in the UK). I have been wondering whether it's worthwhile actually getting the 06 GPS cover instead and using that, sure the screen isn't hidden whilst the car is parked but it wouldn't be if you had a standard GPS anyway.

The only thing I can think of is using something to fill the holes where the existing buttons\joystick are. That way you have something keeping in with the current colour scheme and it's a perfect fit.

Oh and nice choice of colour, same as I have ordered Chilli ftw

I don't know if this has been asked, but... With the 2003 navi window, would it be possible to de-track the cover of a 2006 and place it into the 2003?

No. They are connected totally different. If only, you could.

Sorry for long response. I been on vacation. Now to your question, using "Default" settings. Think startup 5 sec / 1 minute shutdown. Since my carputer only takes about 1 minute startup into Windows / frontend, went with full shutdown, and thus, not messing around with hibernation.
