This is my Work Log
The PC is mounted under the passenger seat and can not be seen with the seat in. Power is taken from the cars battery, yes it's fused and is large enough wire... All wiring is hiddn and I wasn't going to take it apart just for this thread.
And now for everyones favorite part... The Pics!
My car, at least it runs well.
This is how it looks while I'm not there. Normally the bezel is pushed further in but I didn't have it screwed in when I took the pics.
Like everyone says, it looks better in person.
Now I don't have any expendable income for a internet connection in my car and untill I see something affordable I'll stick with this when I need it, a nice dirrectional wifi antenna.
Let me know what you think.
New PICS
The dash peice after a bit more work and sitting where it should.
And a pic that is a little further back, yes I know I need to dust my dash off.
And thanks to DarquePervert for the link to the antennas, I have one now mag-mounted on the trunk.
what is it? ....
I bet you get better reception with that antenna then anyone else...well when you point it at the right source.
maybe you can put a rotator like for an external tv antenna. then you can turn it from inside the car with out getting out.

Yeah, more sanding and a better paint job is for sure on its way, but I don't know about how much else.
It was my first time using fiberglass and I couldn't stand not having it painted because it would reflect light onto the screen.
I will get new pics up soon with it smooth and mounted right.
Any other suggestions?
There are better hi-gain Wifi antennae that are far more suited for vehicle use, not to mention far more aerodynamic.

I'm considering the HG2405MGU.
just sand and reapply and sand and reapply and keep doing it till you think your arm will fall off and keep going...lol

Wow, that was very interesting, defenitely more sanding a little bondo might do the trick for that dash peice. Perhaps you might want to consider moving(sanding) the top of the dash peice down a bit so that you can see the bottom of your screen. Its a good start thought and defenitely a step in the right direction.
