Actually, this is my first install with 4 tweeters. Previously, I followed standard procedure and kept the tweeters as close as possible to the woofers, taking care to aim them properly. With this setup, the tweeters on the dash handle the very highest ranges, such as the 'chink-chink' you hear from the drummers high hat.Originally Posted by Kamo
CDT recommends that these go on the A pillars and fire directly at each other. I just tried to stick to that goal as closely as possible while being a little more stealthy. While they don't make a HUGE difference in the final sound, they do add a little 'sparkle', and help to pull the soundstage up a bit...I usually keep the trim pot output at about 1/3. Any more than that and things start to get too 'shreaky' for my liking.
