that dash it ok. nice job..
Hai everyone, I've been busy with my carputerproject for about 1,5 years now and have a good fully working carputer in my car. I've made a site of where I show of the whole project of not only the carputer but also the styling of my complete car. (stil working on the site, also on a english version)
My car is just spraypainted two weeks ago and you can also find the results there.
Let me know what you think of my carputer.
My Carputer in the Clipper!!
Here some pics.
The finished dash, I've created the panel for the 7" touchscreen and radio myself with fiberglass.
The carputer which I placed under the drivers seat, it's a steel case which I made myself.
I can reach the DVD drive at the frontsite of the drivers seat.
Wow, saw the website! beautiful install and nice painjob dude! enjoy the backup camera! I am thinking of doing something similar but instead of using an AV camera like the one you used, im going to use a usb webcam. i know its not going to be 100% quality as the AV cam but i have no problem with that ;]
Duct tape and a Bandana for the win, b!shes!!!
Cost so far: Less than a grand ;]
Economy/Commuter cars + Computers = many entertained miles
Thanks, I'am going to hook up a webcam also I think, to keep an eye on the kids in the backOriginally Posted by breaker021

Infinity Reference 5000cs
Infinity Reference 6512si
Infinity Reference 7540a
On October I'm going to my brother who lives in Ireland, So I hope to earn some money for carputer.
Ow well okay, you're "working" on it. hahahah
Nice install you have in the back and the tweeters on front, nice job you've done there!!.
Good luck with the progress on your future carputer.
I've been adding something to my install as well, I've put a second 7" TFT LCD in the car for my children in the back. I've connected it to the tv-out on my videocard and it works great.
Also my backing up cam is working now, I'am satisfied with the view though it has a little problem with bright light. It also works good when it is dark outside due to the infrared lights.
how do all you europeans speak such good english, geez
anyway, nice install, lol
Thanks for the compliments, I have a website with a forum for almost 5 years now and post messages on it every day. (www.ultramarines.nl my other hobby) So be doing that you learn to write it better. And the english language wasn't a big problem for me, I don't know why but I've picked it up fast, maybe because it's handy if your hobby is computers and internetOriginally Posted by FC3S
