I drive mostly city streets so figure that in.
Keep in mind it is a heavy car with a 4.2l Inline 6.
The car itself can use a little engine work yet, found some minor oil leaks, but other than that. ...
Thanks for the comments everyone.

Yes it is, I cut out a hole for it then used Gorilla Glue to glue it in place. Edged it with black RTV for looks on the top side and viola embedded keyboard. Nice to have one less thing bouncing around in the car.Originally Posted by NotDave
Is that little thing a pain to use? It cant be as easy as a normal keyboard...is it?

It's really not to bad once you get used to it. It is difficult using number or function buttons though. You have to hold down one button then type the number. That sucks. But I use it mainly for entering street addressess in my nav software. But it doesnt get a whole hell of a lot of use anyway. Pretty much added it so I at leas have the functionality.
doesn't iguidance have a built in touch screen keyboard though?
I like the idea, I'll say that much!

That makes sense...
Do you have a normal keyboard as well?

Yes it does, but IT's allways handy to have a keyboard ready. Great for typing in web adressess as well and other stuff like note taking.Originally Posted by Red GTi VR6
I also have a 8 inch mini industrial keyboard that is much easier to use but it has to be teatherd to the computer which means another cable run and it is not embedded in the dash, and can not be. So I dont really use it.
Update, switching from RR to Mobile Impact.
I have been a die hard RR fan for quite some time now, but Mobile impact seems to be a little more snappier when switching menus. Not as much functionality but RR is getting pretty bloated and a lot of the functions are pretty beta.
I love RR, great work to guino![]()
The skins being developed are far superior to any other Frontend
But I do not require a lot of functions and find MI to be all the functionality I need.
