That is amazing and all but it still burns just as much gas as a v6 and in most cases has to either be taken to the stealership or a specialty mechanic to be serviced. You kind of lose your net gain in "cool" factor right there.
The only real benefits are the engines light weight which makes it easier to acheive damn near 50/50 weight distribution, and its inherently balanced, and rediculously smooth powerband which makes you less likely to upset the balance of the car during transitional periods like turn-in and powering out of a turn.

there is lots of benefits with a Rotary Engine, high revs being one of them! the rotary engine doesnt have to push and pull pistons like a standerd engine so less energy is needed in running the engine, this in turn is why the engine can push so much power and stay safe from damage, also stay low on fuel usage and wouldnt anywhere ner use as much fuel as a v6 unless it was being really screwed and was faulty.

OK the 1.3 might use more than a standerd 1.3 but not like a big V6.

Umm... a Mazda RX 8 has the same fuel economy as a Ford Mustang GT (18 city, 24 highway), except the Mustang GT weighs 500 more lbs, has a 4.6 liter V8, 70 more HP, and 160 more ft lbs of torque (and it looks badass .)

So yeah... the 1.3 liter engine uses a lot of gas for such a small engine. Also, my 2.5 liter Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V gets 23/29 and a 1.8 liter Nissan Sentra gets 28/35.

sorry about that..it was total sarcasm. if you look closely at my avitar you'll see where my roots are.

I love the rotary engine... I had a rx7-r1 street port, ported wastegate, upgraded ecu, 16lbs boost, racing beat springs/sways etc...

enough about the engines lets get back to the sweet install and all the hardwork that was put into this...but i think it's ok to tease him about the bra though

What exactly is the bra on the car for anyway? Your install looks really sweet though. You did exactly what I wanted to do with the s creen on my sentra, except I didn't start off with a motorized screen from the factory.
