Great install Guino! I always thought the OEM LCD was 6.5"...didn't think it's a 7" one, as most car manufacturers use 6.5" nav screens...

You're indeed correct, the OEM LCD is slightly smaller than the VGA Screen. I aligned the bottom of the screen with the edge of the pod and there is a small space above the screen you can't see. But that's nothing that couldn't be adjusted with simple settings in RR, so it doesn't look at all like anything is off.

phone control integrates many bluetooth enabled phones (or I guess you can use a usb cable) into roadrunner (and centrafuse). It allows you to answer the phone, make calls etc... all through your carpc interface. it will play audio through your car's speakers, but you will need a mic plugged into the pc to talk.

No, the videos on myspace are from BEFORE the transflective screen, that's why you can't see much while I'm outside.. the transflective looks way better.. I even use my sunglasses and can see clearly with them while the sun is directly on the screen.

@Emo: As he just said, phoco can let you control receive/make calls using RR for instance. It works really well for me, I just walk into the car, it detects the phone, then if I make/receive a call the music will pause and it will alert me of it. You could even use it to play audio through your speakers but it's kind of hard to do away with the echo (for the remote party).

Side-to-side there's plenty of room.. in fact, the viewable area of the screen is a couple milimiters less than the available space on each side -- so I just centered it.

Guino, could you please explain a little about the settings you made. I also replaced the original nav screen, and I have a small space on the buttom of the screen that's behind the plastic so you can't see it (I can't see my computer and stuff)...

btw, is there such a setting for Windows XP? How are you managing Windows?
