I monted my screen to where the BOTTOM of it was flush with the NAV Pod.. then I "miss" a few pixels on the TOP of the screen behind the plastic (which I could cut if I wanted, but I wont). That way pretty much everything works as usual, I only moved the icons a little bit down on the desktop and set the size/resolution/position in RR's skin to where it starts at the position where I can see and that's it. I don't do desktop work in the car, but if I did, everything would be good as long as I don't maximize any window... in which case if I do, I'd have to either calibrate the touchscreen to where the touch of the upmost right corner reaches the minimize/close/restore buttons (which I did), or I'd have to use the keyboard to restore/move any maximized window.. to me that's acceptable so I don't have to cut a visible whole in the Nav Pod (so I can restore the OEM nav anytime I want).

Ok, so what would you recommend me to do because I have the screen mounted the other way that you have it, so that mine is alligned at the upper part, and not the buttom like you?

Does anyone sell the whole package, meaning cpu, frontend, sirius adapter, etc?

Sorry, been away for awhile.. in Brazil now.. for 1 month.. and still not settled in .. still looking for a car and place to live.. :P so bear with me please..

That's a tough call.. I would strongly suggest re-mounting the screen. it sucks that the LCD screens don't have the same position adjustments as CRT screens do, or you could just roll the screen up and let it slide over the top, and display the bottom as mine does.. I think the Xenarc actually had such option -- don't remember now. But remounting the screen would save you a load of headaches.

I think you're right Guino...I'm already considering other mounting possibilities. Thanks. :)

Thank you so much for all of your help through your posts in the forum. You have an amazing install. I have an RX8 with a similar setup and was wondering how you wired the power for your transflective. For the time being, I have my transflective plugged in to the center console ACC and all is working well.

Should I just cut off the cig lighter end of the LCD power supply and wire it to the back of the ACC, or does it need to be wired to my M1 ATX in the trunk? I read a bunch of posts that talked about the "egg," but I am still confused about that. Btw...plugging into the cig lighter in front gave a high pitched noise proportional with the volume, but there was no sound when using the ACC in the center of the vehicle (center console). Thanks again!

I actually wired the LCD from the PC's power supply -- in your case you're using the M1.. I also put something to keep the LCD power button pressed at all times so when the power is turned on, the screen comes on by itself too. This wiring does come from the trunk, through under the center console. Interestingly enough, all noise in my install was gone by grounding the PC's audio with the car's ground. The Car2PC adapter helped me with that.
