2007 Tahoe install

I love the smell of resin in the morning. I am searching for carpet that is a better match. Looks worse in the pictures but I still don't like it.

What is linear actuator doing? its moving just the computer??

Yep. When all is said and done the "box" with the computer will be fully enclosed. After having a computer in my last car for three years, I knew it would be important to be able to get to the computer without having to tear everything apart. Plus I like actuators.

It's a Spal actuator that has a built in potentiometer. Spal makes a controler that you can set three positions with. Makes things really easy. No limit switches.

I am hoping the finished product looks good. I really need to find a good source of OEM matching fabrics/vinyl for the Tahoe. Still lots more work and pictures to come.

What we have found is that most good upholster shops do a damn good job of matching the factory stuff. We found some damn good vinyl that matched pretty close to the factory VW leather.

That and those places usually have the higher quality materials as well.

Just a thought.
