rsx owners - how did u remove head unit?

allright so i have an 06 rsx-s. im trying to remove the stock head unit so that i can have a better idea what im dealing with before i start. so right now i removed the panel below the HU and unsqrewed the two sqrews below the HU so that it should come out. from what i know there are now only clips on the sides holding it in, but i cant seem to push it out from that hole and im worried about breaking the HU so im curious if anyone has any techniques from their experience on how to remove it properly?

You do realize you posted in the "show off you project forum?" Perhaps you should re-post this in the appropriate forum.

i appreciate all the links, but those are the two sites that i was looking over before. i understand i need to push from behind, the whole thing just isnt comming out and i wondered if anyone found a little quirk about the removal, like if you push out and up it comes out easier etc.

seems you need to push on the edge of the bezel, where the clips are,

is it just totally not moving, or its very difficult, but it moves a little bit?

you did remove the two 8mm screws correct?

yea i removed the two screws, and it does move a little bit, and it is possible that im just at the edge of the force required to pop it out of place i just dont want to snap it in half by pulling too hard in the wrong way
