Then I switch to this!!

My first ever install. I first started with one of those flip out TVs, but I hated it after a while. I hate when things don't look stock or when things just don't mount flush. So I slapped a 7" Lilliput in there. Got a small HP E-Vectra E-PC.
Specs: P3 1Ghz
256MB RAM
Onboard video/sound
CD-RW drive
40 GB hard drive
GPS: Streets & Trips 06
OS: Windows 2000 then switched to Windows XP, so I could get the voice feedback in MS S&T 2006
My head unit has aux inputs so I use that for my sound.
I tried the internet thing using my sprint phone and #777 but I never got it
to work![]()

I'm also using an inverter to power my PC.
Things to do: Find out a way to do automatic start/shutdown on ignition. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks so much MP3 for all the information. I learned a lot and hope to learn more in the future. Now for the pics!!! Let me know what you think!!!

Nice! You need to get yourself a nice frontend to make it all nice and TS friendly. Look at RoadRunner or StreetDeck.

Civiputer: Dont have one anymore, but here is what is used to be!
I agree with Nameeri - use road runner... sweet setup though!

See thats the thing, I don't have a touchscreen. I will be getting on soon though. For right now I use one of those power point pointers as a mouse. It's very small and works well with Window Media Player. If I ever have to type then I'll use the OSK. I tried RoadRunner, but I don't have a TS so I didn't really like it. Once I replace my my LCD with a touchscreen, the I'll install a front end!
looks good. personally, i think i would paint the screen bezel in a flat black because the silver stands out too much. looks like a nice fit though!
