'07 Ridgeline Poor Man's Carputer

Well...here's my first attempt at a carputer, I got the screen from here: http://autonode.com/xdpi107b.html, prior to getting it i did lots of searching for users that might have tried it, but i found nothing. But i must say i really recommend it, its sleek and simple and looks a lot better than the xenarc 700idt. It's also much cheaper. Right now its running off of my laptop, i'm piecing up some old parts for a computer, i will be putting it in a box using a power inverter, for now. Here's what I've done

Hehe... Is that the box from the motherboard ur using as a chassi?

And where did u mount the computer?

hehe, yeah thats the mobo box, I dont know how long it'll last me but they were all free stuff or leftover parts i've had from years ago. And oh yeah, the box..i meant computer fits perfectly under my seat.

I thing it will be a godt idea to find a old pc for you instalation, better than the box you use

UMMMM how do you feel safe with that box??? you can't be that poor because the truck you driving is not cheap.

Actually i dont feel safe at all with the box, but i'm just using it as a temp plan just to get an idea how its gonna work and how i will fit it...I've seen others cut up plexiglass and create a custom case, i'm thinking of going that route...sure i could just buy a case, but i figure it would be more fun and feel more rewarding this way
