I think you're right queenambeach. I guess the trick now is to figure out how to make said projector units mount into my factory headlight housing... to me it sounds like a pretty fussy cut & fit job. have you had any experience here?

I have not completed a retro yet, but I'm gathering the parts for one as we speak. If you want all the information you could ever need, go to www.hidforum.com
I have a HID kit in my car, but I'm getting rid of that. No beam pattern an to much glare.

HID projectors - $150 <--- Still need to buy
Ballast <----- Already got them, came with kit $150
Misc <------ $50, wiring, epoxy, etc.
Osram D2S 4300K Bulbs <--------$58

I've got 6000K in my headlights and 3000K in my fogs and both kits 2gether don't come close to $600!!

Oh okay I see now, you mean for everything. Thats seems okay, but I'm sure with some searching on ebay, you can get all the OEM parts you need for your retrofit for maybe less.

yo i302k, i still didnt give u props on your sys. its sick and its an inspiration to me as an infiniti owner myself lol as for the manual transmission, i wish you luck on that, hope u dont end up blowing ur money for nothing...and dont get a max just for manual transmission...why? lol u have the luxury options/badges! why ruin that just to get a manual and lose all the hard work on ur carpc, dumb lol i dont know much about i30's but in general everything injector said was right from a GENERAL perspective, it sounds like u kno wat ur talkin about and u did ur homework about ur infiniti tho. btw thanks for ur help so far, still a long process of planning my sys lol peace
