how is that screen mounted?
Hi Everyone,
After i have taken many Ideas from this forum, i thought i post my "result"
Since i had a Dell laptop lying around, i decided to use that with an 8" touchscreen Monitor.I am using a Denison CD Changer Interface for the Audio and RoadRunner as the Frontend. Also ODBII Adaptor is integrated. The metal plate that is holding the Monitor is glued to the Audi frame via Epoxy glue.
Have fun
Michael

Hi,
in the first photo , do you see the metal Plate with that round thing on top ?
The metal Plate is glued with Epoxy to the car frame and then the round thing (Which is the standard mount that comes with the screen) is screwed to the Metal plate.
Hope that helps.
Her is a photo that shows it better.

Richard
Hi,
I got the Keyboard from a computershop here in Germany.
The shop is called Arlt.(www.arlt.com) The Keyboard is an MS-TECH, LT-300U, Mini-Keyboard, silber.
I am sure if you google it you can find it where you are.
I attached it with Velcro to the Glove compartment, so that i can remove it.
