    Talking 2000 Lincoln LS V8 - Interior from scratch - PICS!!

    i have posted in here before with questions comments and/or concerns. Now im going to post pics of what I gathered and my current project. Please note that this project has been going on for a month now, and i still have about another month or so before completion. Im a software developer, and have never done anything like this, but so far so good.

    Done
    Fixed my engine

    In Progress
    Rebuild Dash From Scratch
    Rebuild Center Console From scratch
    Rebuild Head and Tail lamps using Clear resin
    Custom directX and .NET programming for ODBII

    To DO
    Rebuild Seats From scratch
    Rebuild Truck with subs from scratch
    Rebuild Front Facia and Grill (Extend and customize)
    Repaint exterior and body.
    Drop some clean 20" wheels on it

    Here is my stash
    -3 lilliputs 7" TS - 2 for speedo replacement, 1 in trunk for carputer access
    -1 Tablet PC Compaq TC1000 (1ghz, 786mb) - drives ODBII - goes center console (vertical)
    -1 Coby Portable DVD player with TV Tuner - Back Center Console
    -1 Epia m10000 mobo - drives audio system
    -Vents from Mustang
    -Logitech wireless keypad
    -delorme gps lt20
    -powermate
    -QSEE Night vision camera 180FT
    -slim line slot load dvd burner for mobo
    -2 60g laptop drives, 1gb mem for mobo
    -2 JL W3 Subs
    - No amps or components yet

    The most expensive things i bought for this project were tools (compressor, air tools, tools,tools,tools....) CarPC Components were fairly prices and labor were paid with sweat and tears.

    HOLY SHNICKEYS!!!!!!! Man, you are INSANE!!! lol.. I just bought a 2000 Lincoln LS and sooooo want to put a Mac Mini in it with a touchscreen, but man... I am not that brave. I cant wait to see how yours turns out. Also, I might hit you up with some questions about the dash and stuff. I've already been behind it to swap out the stock stereo, but Im really not that confident in going further. Good luck man!

    ok i posted a few more dash pics. the dash is evolving as i have never done this before. Experts, please eyeball the layout and reply with comments as to what you think should go where. This design phase is tricky. should i put tweeters and in the dash, or not. the door panels are next. i have a few concept sketches of all i will post soon.
