PLEASE tell me where you bought that cd drive. That's exactly what I'm looking for, but I cant find any external slim drives anywhere.

thrasher, look at the mp3car.com store. they ahve slim/slot loading dvd drives

The kit does not have place for a cdrom, and it was no kit availible at that time.

New to the site but I have a friend installing a setup in his VW. I have an Evo IX and would love to install this type of setup using the Orbital Double Din conversion. Would be sick to have EVOScan and other data logging stuff built right in.
