2005 Subaru Forester FXT

Hello, after about of month of working on the CarPC, my friend and I are getting closer and closer to making it a reality.

Page 1. Diagram, Screen and boot screens
Page 2. Rearview camera an painted screen

The PC is already configured and we are currently working on the creation of the custom monitor and where the DVD and USB hubs are going to be placed. Below is the result of 4 days of bondo, sanding and more sanding. I hope you guys like it and let me know what you guys think. I will post pictures as the project goes forward

It looks awesome dude, very nice job indeed... To me it looks as factory as it gets, which in my opinion is the absolute best

Can you give us some more specs? What kind of screen, what is in your box? etc... Also a shot of behind the dash piece would be nice.

Thanks for the nice comments. I'll post some pics of the rear as soon as I can, but it's nothing especial, just the back side with apoxy holding it in place

CCD Infrared rear view camera

I believe that's it, at least what I can remember right now. This is my friend's Forester and I have an 05 STI

Do any of you know if there is a spray paint match to the dash color? If not, we might have a shop paint it.

Here is the Windows boot screen. Took me a while to get it right, but now it's complete and working perfectly

Impreza 555 - Give me your email address so I can forward you both the 16color screen and the 16 color progress bar.

I can even change it up if you want, but I like the Simple emblem and Subaru

Awesome work on your install!

I would like a copy of that bootscreen also, if you wouldn't mind.

My install is almost done, did you replace the headunit all together? or relocate it?
