I was thinking about that but I really don't mind it there and it'll defintely get better reception, no? Has anyone had any trouble getting with their GPS antenna underneath their dash (i.e. not wtih direct line of sight)

It's the GPS receiver that comes with MS Streets & Trips. From what I read about other posts, I don't recommend it. I'm actually going to buy another GPS receiver and see if it makes a difference.

And if it does get better reception, maybe I can hide the receiver under my dash again (although it doesn't bother me much having it where it is now)

Get a SirfIII chipset based receiver. One guy did a reveiw of it in my previous post

How do we feel about the BU-353? What antenna would you recommend?

BU-353 seems like a good choice. Anything with a SirfIII chipset should perform basically the same. So just do a search for which GPSes have that chipset.

My screename on My.Is is also Ogold007, but I wasn't too active on it. I was just soaking up the info, hopefully I'll be able to give back something as well soon
