This is my first project - Took a couple of weeks to install. Started with an old 600 compaq, worked so well decided to get VIA SP13000 1.3GHz.

All changed now, using RiderRunner with DFX 4.0 Garmin GPS software and free NZ maps from NZ GPS maps project.
Will get site up and running again soon. Still using Carchat will include copy on web site to download.

Where did you get the "car chat program"
i also have plans too use someting like that.
Found it on the net, wasn't for my car but managed get to work by changing com settings & remapping ecu data bits. It is for the older GM OBD I 8192 baud rate not for newer OBD II. But if you need copy email me your addy an I'll send you it.
Its a great prog - you can setup your own guages, bar graphs, labels ect
