Thanks for answering my questions. I also have a '98 Passat and was hoping to fit a mini-ITX motherboard in the dash.

We'll that could mybe be done, but it will be tight. But remember you'll also need space for hd and psu. Its not impossible, but it will be tight...

I'll give it a try one of these days. Hate to get back into the electrical on this car (Passats are so fickle). After my speaker and amp install I still have troubles.

Did you fab that bezel yourself or were you able to find one?
