Here is the list that I put together. That's pretty much everything that I can think of, but I have updated some of the wiring using some of the AMP wiring kits from like WalMart. If you can't open the link, let me know and I can PM you the info.

thanks. is it possible to get the pictures zipped up from the installation and preparations?
No problem. I have more pictures than are posted, so I will compress them all up for you and then link them for download. I am at work right now, but I will try to get it done within the day.

Im a pilot.
I have become a cross control stall.
I just picked up a 07 alloy Mustang GT..
I would love to do this same thing..
I am thinking of getting the mini mac.. mainly due to the size.. and I plan to get the new iPhone ..
With the set up that you have.. do you have any kind of radio ..?
My car came with a factory Sirius radio module.. could I use that for radio ..?
Ready to get this show on the road. But after reading alot of things here on the site, I'm not sure the path to take. Im an IT guy, so the idea of getting pieces from scratch doesn't really bother me. However, I would imagine it might be nicer (and possibly cheaper), to create the PC and store it remote to the Dash, then just run cables to the dash for video and sound to the speakers. I want some pretty specific things such as Surround sound capability and Wireless networking too. I would also imagine it would be better to store it remotely because of access issues. I love to tinker with sthings, so i can imagine i would always want to try another front end ro something.
Was just looking for some opinions about how proacticle it might be to build the PC and stroer it in a custome enclosure in the trunk and go from there. How much would that video signal suffer from that trip to the front?
