I have an oqo model 02 on order... dang thing is turning out to be vaporware

I am thinking of cancelling the order, since I found out it has an active digitizer... (meaning it works with the stylus, and not your finger)

i have a nissan 200sx. done a few mods like norris design boost upgrade kit. norris design chip. full exhaust system-blitz. blitz induction. dump valve. runnin 14psi on standard turbo. lowered 40mm on apexi shocks n springs.

not gettin involved in the hp war but no matter how powerful the 335 is i wud still rather have a nissan over a bmw. u cant beat the jap cars. you develope 280 hp from a 2 lt turbo. the beemer needs 2 turbos and 3.5 lt to get roughly the same performance in actual acceleration.

^--- it's 3.0 liter I believe, bmw kinda stopped using the liter number in the name.

Either way, this thread belongs in the work log section...Got me all excited for nothing, sad face.

Btw Rix, Have you priced/considered buying the Navi dash trim piece instead? Would make a really clean install.

I considered it for a few minutes, until I realized that it would cost more than the entire carputer... not to mention I couldnt find one other than ordering a new one. The other problem is that the stock nav screen sits back to far to be a touchscreen.. you cant reach it.

Love the new E92s. Great improvement over the front and rear styling of the E90s (it's interesting how BMW now splits apart the chassis numbers, instead of rolling all into one.. i.e. E36 and E46 covered the 3-series as a whole, sedan, coupe and M-variant).

    Can't wait to see it.

Are we actually going to see any progress on the car pc side of things or is this just going to be a massive thread on how good or how bad the new 3 series coupe is?

If thats the case should this topic be moved to off topic/general discussion??

sorry for the delay folks... I wish a mod would move this into the worklog section... as my first posts states... sorry bout that.

the computer I ordered was on backorder for months, so I cancelled the order, and then now my car has been in the shop for over a month for a fuel pump that died that is on backorder... (seimons/VDO sent BMW a bad batch of pumps, and one made it into my car...)

I am in backorder hell !!!!!!!!

I know this is resurrecting an old thread. But I've started my 335i Coupe install and have a HOWTO with pictures of installing an LCD in the Ashtray area. See link below.

    Thanks.
