You're right. The opening needs to be bigger. I have not tried inserting the LCD alone, i.e. without the lilliput plastic casing. I feel that would be a perfect fit for it. But would you recommend that? I will try to get a photo up as soon as possible. Damn if I go to work after hours, I can probably use their camera.

Yeah, it would have to be dremeled in my opinion and bondo-ed.

Sure, if the lcd without the liliput casing fits and looks good, I say go with it. Much less headache and the double din bezel you have looks good anyway. Just have to find a way to attached the screen to the bezel. I'd also try to keep the back of the lilliput casing attached somehow to protect the electronic components from touching things and shorting out. To me this route seems like the better route if it looks good and a suitable method is found to attach the lcd. Some scrap plastic or nuts epoxied to the bezel would probably work to attach the lcd.

I have it powered right of my DSATX power supply. Just wired on a molex plug and called it a day. Had the 12v on the molex powering my screen and reserved the 5v of the molex to power my dvd-rw drive, but ended up not using it for that. Instead the 5v is powering the light on my Bulgin power button.

Hey Kevin

I took out the screen from its casing and the screen was able to git ok, but just like the other guy's post under the monthly meeting car meet, I have negative spaces on both sides. I took pictures with my phone. I'll post them up asap so you can get a better picture. You mentioned your Fridays are not too busy. Mines aren't neither. If I need to meet up with you, where would it be? Thanks

I'm not sure if you mean today or fridays in general, but today is one of the exceptions where it won't be a half day for me. My half day friday's might be coming to an end it appears. I'm not yet sure though. Regardless I am still available after 4:30pm on fridays though if thats of use to you. I'm not gonna lie though, it's a hike for you. I'm in Prince Georges County and it's about an hour (average traffic) to here from baltimore. Clinton is the city, but few people I talk to have ever heard of it. We can meet at my work which is also in clinton, but it's also easy to get to from the beltway if you come that way. Just let me know and I'll pm you that address or my house address so you can mapquest it.

Not an issue. I also live in Bowie, by Lanham. We all PG county. I'm here like almost every weekend. Its how I get away from work, grad school stress in B.More.

I have a half day today so I'm heading straight there from work. I got some activities to take care of today though. Dang! Seems like I'll be busy the whole day. What's tomorrow looking like for you?
