Looks really good and clean - Couple of things in my opinion -
1) Shave off the "Lilliput" emblem and have a complete stock look -
2) Find a better way to hide/store/mount the computer in the trunk - Maybe the trunk ceiling?
3) Keep up the good work - You've done VERY well -
Post some specs/details by the way -![]()
Thanks for the feedback.
For the PC I was thinking in the space tire holder, there is ample room down there, but for the winter I want to keep the spare in the car..
Specs: IBM Netvista, 1gz, 128mb ram, 32 mb ati rage pci video card...nothing extravegant.
Bluetooth dongle for cell phone connectivity (I had to write my own app since no other program supported my phone - i870)
Wireless Samsung presenter (see pic) it has 3 useable buttons so I mapped them, for FF, RW, Play/Pause
Cardreader, with 2GB CF card for music, and 256MB SD card for GPS maps.
I have the HD turn off after 5 minutes, so it works out nicely.
Yea - you could definitely use the spare tire space - I'm sure you'll figure out a spot - I know how Sedans could be... I had a 99' Infiniti G20 - and after trying our different locations, I realized that putting the PC in a flat case (custom made out of an old DirecTV receiver) and mounting it flat on the back of the rear seat was my best bet for space etc. -
Nice specs, the cards are packing the real power -
Some samples if you wanna have a better idea:
My back seats were 60/40 splits - I had the PC on the back of the larger seat - This is the seat folded down - I had easy access to the PC for tweaking -
This was my dash back then -
Climate Control looks familiar?- Nissan baby!!
I was also running a HU back then, but as you can see, I didn't have any room for it in the dash, so I had to stash it in my glovebox -
Ahhh - the memories of this setup -![]()
