Why would a holden be much better to do for? what are your reasons for this statement.

1. Pre VE commodore no standard colour screens or provisions for front screens except for the Caprice that has dual rear LCDs.

2. The only other option is to use after market roof drop down LCDs.

3. The point of MY project was to use the FACTORY screen as a demonstation.

4. The whole setup looks factory from wiring to boot where the pc looks apart of the car.

Looks good mate. I'm using the prem sound screen for my Alpine deck which does DVD, MP3, all that, and displays all the track info on it.
I also run my laptop on the screen for Nav.
Have you thought about fitting a touch-screen overlay to it?

that screen only allows a video input and not vga right?

RGB NTSC is it's input.

it will do NTSC and VGA but VGA with 640x480 60hz H, 15Khz V

very clear and nice for watching dvds. Does anyone know where i can get a touch screen overlay for this size
