Another serious question... about the frame you built to mount the amp and motherboard, shon in the pic named "project-murano-pc-100.jpg"... Did you build that to the same measurements as the compartmentalized "tray" that was between the spare tire and the door that covers it? I think with the right ventilation, that's a great place to put all my carputer stuff, too.
Ride: 2004 Nissan Murano SL AWD/Sheer Silver/Black Leather/factory HIDs.
MoPuter: Transflectivized Lilli 7", EPIA M-10000, 512Mb RAM, 160Gb WD, SBLive!, 54g WLAN, Holux GM-213, 160W M2-ATX PSU
I sent you an email over on the MO board before I saw your thread here - it looks like you originally were going to have the alpine in place of the stock screen and put the 7" lilliput in place of the radio faceplate. What changed your mind? Did the screen not fit there?
good lord man... Im getting sooooo tired looking @ the pics because it looks like you have done A TON of work! I wish I could have the time + fabrication skills to do a project like this........ but major props!
