    BRAVO Anzafin !!!
    Very good idea and implementation.

In your case, if I had more time, I would have improve:
    1) Rebuild connections with dash, as in a not serious accident, screen may break and hit you or another passenger.
    2) I would add all cable connections on iron connection with the dash (2x9pin adapters?). It would be easier, quicker to mount unmount the screen.

I 'm really impressed with your installation.
    Keep on the good work.

Thanks! No I really donīt mind if you wish to use similar ideas. Itīs just great if someone gets some more inspiration .

Quattro: Toyota Avensis is sold here in Europe. Itīs true it looks like Audi A4. Actually Avensis is just a bit bigger but unfortunately there are not 4WD versions around. Here in Finland itīs the most sold car in itīs class, I guess

I dare to publish some more pictures about making my display stand. Thereīs actually nothing that we havenīt seen on this forum, but because of your interest (which I really appreciate ) I gladly show stages of my work:

The base of the stand is made out of a piece of a crappy plywood board:

Bars are made of flat iron and bended by hand :

    Test fitting the screen:

On this stage I lost my faith on a smooth and slick result

But after some filling and sanding I got more strength:

The edge between bars and wooden frame were filled with fiberglass and plastic filling:

Spray filling was a real help to see where the grainy areas were:

    Test fitting:

The screen frame was attached with fiberglass:
(Fiberglass I used was meant to glue things as well)

After rough forming some more filling:

    To be continued...

    And sanding...:

    ...I believed again :

In here you can see the background of a stand (And my desk also with Winnie the Pooh as a working platform):

Of course I base coated the stand before car color which is added in this pic:

The electric parts of the screen were attached again:

    And the backplate also:

I made the connection panel into a slot where a mug holder used to be:

The base plate is a piece of plexiglass:

...Wrapped in a carbon fibre looking foil:

The final look. I used the button of the removed mug holder as a cover when screen is not being used:
