Hahaa itīs been fun to drive around the town at night noticing people trying to take themselves a peek of my trunk like: "What the heck is glowing in there?!"

Actually Iīm amazed how much I really have used the carpc now when the project is "ready". Almost every time when I sit in my car I switch it on. I managed to shorten the bootup time down to 35 seconds and thatīs enough for me ok.
And while visiting a shop or something itīs easy to left on with the laptopīs battery.

I listen to music a lot and damn itīs good to have every cd in my car now.
Iīd love to have some other things to do with the carpc besides playing music and GPS, and I guess all possible ideas are on this forum to learn about. I am just a bit tired to make any major mods with my ride right now

Ok, some update. Not for the carpc itself, but the audio system.

I changed the speakers. The original ones were ok, but I wanted more. I chose Rainbow SLX 265 Deluxe set to be installed in front and SLX 265 for rear. And they sound great!

    Hereīs some pictures:

Casings in front corners had to be formed a bit to install the tweeters.

    Tweeters are hotglued into casing.

    Fits nicely.

    Same thing for rear tweeters.

    Fits nicely again:

Little modding had to be done for rear speakers. The originals in rear doors were 5,25" and I installed 6,5".

    But they fit after all.

Thatīs about it. Like I said, sounds great.

I have some ideas to take this project go further again, but weīll see...

Where is the hole between engine space and interior in Toyota avensis 04? I need to get the electricity cable connected from car battery to subwoofer?

    Wow! Thanks guys !

The car has been sold a year and a half ago already. The install worked fine, no problems.
