Thread: 2005 Saturn Vue - 7 inch indash

OK! I got a lot done this weekend!!! The carputer is now fully operational, but I am waiting on my new car amplifier to come in. Right now, I'm using a really small 4ch 18w clarion. The new one is 50W per channel and much higher quality.

Lets see how the LCD fits.... (it doesn't get any easier than this)



Went to Wal-Mart and got glue gun and high temp glue for $4

Here is the LCD glued into place:



And here is the LCD and bezel (I used about 6 sticks of glue..dont think it's going anywhere)

Here is the carputer installed into the space where the radio was. I used tie straps for easy removal when needed. It's a pretty tight fit to get all of the cables in place, and the carputer wont be moving at all.

1. Install new amplifier

3. Install full version of Streetdeck (should come in the mail this week)
4. Install Permenant Slimline DVD player in glovebox
5. Install USB hub in glovebox for accessories
6. Install USB phidget as volume knob
