Well I have don’t a lot since those photos..

Firstly I have ditched the Lilliput screen and upgraded to an Infill G4....

Then I decided it was time for a better Sub and Amp combo.

Never ending.. Yes. But it is getting very close.

I like the amp and sub combo (just put one of those new kenwoods in a car today lol), why did you decide to go with the g4?

Just too many darn problems with the notebook. Whenever I needed the dam thing, it wouldn’t work.

Couldn’t see the screen in daylight, Issues with the power supply. Wanted a system to hibernate on shutdown, has decent radio inbuilt, Looks like OEM, just works, etc.

Just got to the stage where I had to bite the bullet. Also I managed to get hundreds of the price at the time (which was still more than they are selling them for now)

Still it was cheaper than the factory sat nav option and a hell of a lot nicer.

The new install looks pretty darned good. I saw you switched from CF to StreetDeck so you would get the gesturing. Do you find that SD works better with the G4 than CF did? I just finished my system (see the 2002 Civic Si thread) and the screen looks good, but not quite as OEM as this setup.

Are the lines on the sub box the carpet seams or is that to frame out the GTI logo?

no problem with accessing climate they are less than half inch away from shiftboot

SD works way better. But is designed for the G4 and uses all the functionality. (Radio, tilt, lights, etc)

They are seams. I tried very hard to not have any but because of the weird shape of the box, the carpet needed 2 of them. I tried heating it up to shape it also. You only can see them because of the stupid glue came out the ends..
Doesn’t matter.

I like the sub box- i might have to steal your idea since the current sub box that is being used is being returned! did you put the infill the same place as the other lilliput was? Hard to tell since the pics only outlined the monitor.
