I replaced the mirror all together. I can't see out my rear view mirror because my tints too dark. I hate the blind spots in my car

Hey, I finally got off my lazy *ss and finished that cable. PM your address again.

Those little cable end crimps where a *itch. I could hardly see them and my fingers are too big to hold on to those little suckers. I'm not making any more of these.

    Thanks Jason

I just picked up a RE 35.1 (Old School) Heres a link to Ampguts. It's rated at 12 volts so no overrating BS. It'll do:
    1500 @ 1 ohm
    1000 @ 2 ohms
    500 @ 4 ohms
Heres a picture of what it looks like. This isn't a picture of the one i'm getting (he removed the pictures from the ad after i bought it).

At 2.67 ohms that's only 300 watts to each sub. Is that going to be enough? I thought you were looking for an amp that put out it's power at 2 ohm mono.

How are the 3 subs going to be mounted? A single box from the rear seat top all the way back? Are the subs going to be in a row or spaced like a triangle? Cone up or down?

Your reminding me of myself with all the different sub ideas.

Well sadly I don't think i'll be happy with the sq of the r's in the long run. I'm looking at 2 RE se's I've talked to alot of guys and they compare them to 12" JL w6's. I'm talking to a guy about another 35.1 so with any luck i'll have two. Normally i get my subs first them find the amp, but i sold my jl 250/1 last night and had some cash in my paypal account and a great guy on CA.com gave me one of those deals you can't pass up

Also If i do 3 they will be mounted on either side of how i have my one now. I'd keep it all flush and may or may not invert. If the subs are less than 7.5" deep i can mount them regularly. I also have about 2^3 ft to work with there. any sub ideas? I'd like to go with something non-mainstream (ie.. RE, FI, RD, SS, DD)

I've got my 3 JBL GTi's. Have you thought about them? They are monsters and you don't see them very often due to their price, but you can get good prices on them from ebay stores.
BTW, thermal power handling = 4000 watts each

I've never tried JBL out or even heard them in action before. I'll look at them. How do you like their SQ?

    Pics here:

I've yet to fire mine up, but I've heard from several people I trust (IASCA and USACi competitors) that they have both great SQ as well as get very loud. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will like their sound. I'm thinking of building my box right now out of simple MDF, nothing complicated and strapping one of my Rockford amps on it to power all 3 with 200w each just to judge what they sound like.

I need to make the face out of something really strong to handle their weight. Maybe 1" MDF or a hardwood. Definetely will have metal threaded inserts on the back side and bolt them in.

I remember seeing them in your thread. They look like beast of subs. being dual 6 ohms if i were to do 3 i could give each one 500 rms @ 1 ohm. or do 2 of them at 1.5 ohms which would be ~ 650 rms a piece.

I'd have to do 2 since 300 a piece is a bit much for me. I'm pry going to go with something different tho since these are what you're going to use and i'd have a hard time using them, especially 3

I'm done rushing my choices and am going to watch the ca classifieds and read up on different subs. Atleast i have one hell of an amp for whatever i decide to get

If and when you do get these things fired up i would love to hear what you think of them.

On a side not i had a guy offer to buy my screen and bezel from me today because he saw my forsale thread and wanted to know what i'd sell it for
