Thats fine, I'm in no hurry. I'm glad that you got your engine. What did you end up deciding to do for your engine?

Well, the first guy I paid $2600 and it had heads, cam, low miles, etc.. about 500hp and he never delivered. I'll deal with that theiving SOB later. So I picked up a decent longblock (high mileage) locally along with a GM hotcam for $1000. That's what I'm installing. I'll just have to upgrade the heads and get headers later on once I have more money. I want a gripier clutch as well. Do you have any experience with different clutches?

Sorry to hear about the first engine, good luck with that.

Sound like you found a nice deal on a good motor to build up. I'm not too familiar with the different brands of clutches for our cars, just the different stages. I believe I'm using a stage 3 clutch in my car (previous owner put it in) and I love it compared to the stock or even a stage two that i've drove. Then again this is all based on personal driving preferences.

I'm also trying to come up some different designs for a sub box. I'd like a bit more airspace while staying unique. I really don't want to do something that someone else has done for their f-body.

Hey Jason, any idea the airspace that you can get out of just the t-top holder? I thought I read a thread on Caraudio where someone fiberglassed a 3 Ft^3 box the shape of mine. I'll have to try to find that.

That would be the Spec brand. I think I'm going to try the LS7 clutch. I hear it's much improved over the C5 Z06 clutch I'm had for the past 5 years.

You should get 3 cu.ft. if you go all the way up to the hatch.

Listen to that idle, it's like music to my ears. I can't wait to hear this sound from my car.
