The laptop is mounted to the bottom of my seat, so that the disc drive and PCMCIA slot can be accessed by reaching down. I also have two USB slots under the seat. Auto startup/shutdown is controlled via two relays and the auto lock/unlock pulse from my alarm system.
Don't mind the dirty winter mats... Northeast winter FTL!

as for the angle... yup, it is angled up slightly (that's just how the dash is shaped). you can't tell from the pics, but if you're in the driver's seat, you're looking directly at it. if the screen was completely vertical, i'd think it would be harder to see....

awesome job, I have an RSX myself (non S type). I'm also using a modified version of the simplistique skin (in the process of making my own) and we both are using laptops running road runner! lol, you are cheating off me.
seriously though, great job. I also like how the RSX's dash tilts up to meet the driver's eyes.
