2001 Prelude MAC mini - Completed with Head Unit

I finally completed my Carputer project. Before this I have never done anything related to car mods.

Specs:Mac mini 1.66Mhz Core duo
Lilliput 7" wide Screen
CNX-P1900 with MacPac
GlobalSat BT-359 Bluetooth GPS receiver
Old Car stereo as Head Unit
Homemade noise filter
Hand made front LCD cover
WinXP Tablet

Did you run connections from the face to the headunit ?

Yes, to the white (6-pin) header, top right coner of the first picture.
I only have a five-core spiral cord, so the face's backlight have to go. It is not readable in the dark, but I only have to set it once.

Hehe, not from the start; I had all the gear sit there for a few weeks, and was thinking I will be wasting my time. But once I settled on the screen mount, the rest came naturally...

I did the same but I used a wire harness from an head unit we had in the shop
