Did you route the sound through the stock radio? It looks like you may have put the radio in the place of the little "toaster oven" below the HVAC controls:

I'm thinking about doing a similar setup. So far, I've only found something similar for an xB... but I'm more interested in if it'll work for the xA. So, I'm wondering:
1) Did you actually route the sound through the factory radio.
2) How did you mount the radio in the "toaster oven" bay. Does it fit? How did you mount it?
3) How did you wire the aux input to the factory radio?
