Spent about four months on this project, and I am happy to have it done now...if anyone has questions, feel free to ask. I know several people helped me during my build...
A few specs :
1- 1.2ghz VIA processor and motherboard (special CPU with low 25 watt power comsumption)
1- 512mb stick of RAM
1- 160watts DC - DC power supply (which hooks directly to the car battery)
1- 80gb Hard drive (was 40gb, until that one got fried)
1- GPS receiver
1- D-Link wireless rangebooster card
1- Sprint wireless card in car...screaming fast internet! Plus, the card is USB!
1- colored Fan
1- Mini-itx Case
2- switches from Cardomain
2- USB motherboard extension cables (made to my specifications in England)
1- 7" Ultrabright touchscreen with VGA and AV hookups
Using Mobile Impact front-end (Mobile Impact Version 3 is now available.
Iguidance v. 3.0 is the GPS software
A few extra modifications:

I probably should have taken some install pics, but I was so concerned with just getting it done that I kinda forgot to do that...sorry
Thanks...the plexiglass base really made the project much cleaner. It made it so that the computer would not slide around in the glove box (I put base mounts in the plexi), yet I could "easily" drill through the plexiglass and run my cables through there.
What screen did you use? I've got an 07 350Z without the in dash nav system, and I'm looking for a screen to use that will install relatively easy, and if I can use the OEM door cover like you are, that would be even better. Could you PM me with some tips?
