Mixing

Once you have your project prepped, you’re now ready to mix some resin. Very, very rarely do I ever work with more than 2oz at a time. A little resin goes a LONG way, if it’s done correctly. Put 2oz in your mixing cup, add the recommended MEKP (hardener), and mix well. If you’re using a high-quality resin like the US Composite stuff, you have about a 10-minute working time, if the resin is mixed correctly.

Make sure to read the manufacturer's recommendations on the mixing ratios. If you decide to go with a waxing additive, and you're on your last layer, then this is the time to add it as well.
