How do u know that it will work 100% of the time? What if iG hasn't finished loading?

I think I figured out the problem: iG takes much longer to start up the first time, and then it starts up very quickly. For me, I get the very quick load after the first time. So the fix for it not embeddign would be just to increase the delay.

a timer is used, but the problem with your code is that it it may not send the WM_KEYDOWN message to the right window. As you may very well know, the window caption for the startup screeen is a null string and the window class for that window is #32770. When I tried running your code, the startup screen NEVER closed for me no matter how big a delay I used. This was the case because I had another application with the same window class and caption and was the one that was receiving the SendMessage.

Well I had the same problem... that's why I had to kill all other applications running for the startup window to go away...

Not sure if anyone has tried this, but using AutoIT (http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/) this type of thing is very easy. It can wait for a given window, press a button, etc etc with a simple script.

I am not sure, but I think one could build a complete 'iGlauncher' type application with AutoIT. I just don't know how the embedding piece works with CF.

If you just want to bypass the nag screen, RoutisLauncher works just fine for iGuidance.

I am interested in iGLauncher because it creates GPS map real estate by removing the useless borders as well.

    It'll do more soon

Anyways, I'll try to see what would happen if I removed the nil and replaced it with ''.

I agree, iGlauncher does a lot more than just remove the nag screens. Its great.

I have some feedback: In my experience, the results vary tremendously. SOmetimes it will take more than 10 launches to make it work correctly. Other times, it works right on the first time (dismissed dialogs correctly)

It appears that I might have to set the delay to a higher value to account for any strange CPU processing or delays from launch to launch.

    Thanks

About the weird launches: I'll work on this... but its really weird. I guess I figured out that if you're cold booting, then iG will take longer to boot compared to when if was run previously.

Well, I don't believe the problem is this software with iGLuanch embedding in Centrafuse. I'm personally running it with Centrafuse 1.2 and iGuidance 2.0 with no issue. Centrafuse embeds the Window just fine. One thing I did have to chnge is the delay timer. I set it to 1000 (1s) so I know the iGuidance 'Ok' is definitely clicked.

I would make sure that when you configured Centrafuse to use iGLuanch, that you also renamed the title to iGLaunch as well.

Also, on a side note. When in centrafuse, when changing modes, the start menu always pops up and I have to hide is by clicking else were. This normally did not happen when using iGuidance directly. Not sure what is causing this.
