It doesn't work because of the no gps nag. I need to have the option to get rid of it for yours to work.

hey zots,
there was some process running on my laptop that was hanging igskinner. I don't know exactly which one, but try killing all non system processes in task manager and run igskinner again.

thanks for the tip. Tried on 5 machines and no luck..all xp pro sp2

Yeh, that was the problem with another guy. He killed a toshiba process and it fixed it

Weird. My dev machine is xp sp2, and so is my laptop.

Running Win XP Pro SP2 on my laptop and the only problem I have is the menu bar issue.

zots > The machines that you've run iGSkinner on, are they made by the same manfacturer, home-built, etc.? Is there anything that the 5 machines have in common perhaps an anti-virus or something. As kuo suggested, try to end all processes that are not important/needed at the moment.

hmmm uve seem to have gotten rid off the menu, mute volume icons care to share? maybe res hacker? if so would u post the modded exe?

My home machine is a DELL SC420 and all other machines are IBM (3 T42 laptops and a 2 A50 Desktops). I have killed virtually every process that can be killed and no anti-virus except on one machine.

When I launch IGskinner, iGuidance driver warning comes up first and sits there and I can see IGSkinner in the process list....that tells me IGSkinner is looking for NAG window to click the button and somehow can't find it....If i cick on OK button my self, regular Iguidance loads up. If you start Igskinner again, another process is added and so on...

@ zots: click on "user name" in the task manager window so that the processes sort by user. then end all of the processes that belong to "delluser" except for "explorer.exe". then run igskinner again. i'm pretty sure it's some program running that doesn't allow igskinner to find the warning window.

It's not that iGSkinner can't find the window, it's that it found a window with the same name as the nag screen window and sent the message to that window, instead of the iGuidance window.

Took me forever to add the remove USB thing warning. It didn't want to send keys to that window, so I had to use another API... took me forever that that was the problem

Maybe I just figured out the problem with the hibernation.

Yeh, reshacker. But I think WebDog just photoshopped out those buttons.

I see a few more apps running. Like the FTP app, ALG, etc..
